In-Home Personal Training
in North York Toronto
BodyMind provides one-on-one personal training in North York for people who want professional coaching without travelling to a gym.
Your personal trainer comes to your home, condo, or condo fitness centre and builds each session around your goals, fitness level, available space, and equipment.
You do not need a full home gym to get started. Your trainer can bring portable equipment when needed and adapt your program to the space and equipment you already have.
Rather than following a generic workout plan, you receive individualized coaching based on how you move, what you want to improve, and what is realistic for your lifestyle.
Your program progresses as your strength, mobility, movement quality, and confidence improve.

How In-Home Personal Training
Starts in North York Toronto

Book Your Free Consultation
You describe your goals, your exercise experience, your training history, and your schedule. You also tell your trainer where you plan to train: a condo unit, a house, or your building’s fitness centre. Your trainer confirms whether your building registers outside trainers at the concierge desk and books your first session around that access.
Complete Your Functional Assessment
Your trainer tests your fitness level and your movement patterns in the space you will actually use.
Most North York clients train in a condo living room or an amenity-floor gym, so your trainer measures your usable floor area and inventories the equipment your building provides.
The assessment sets your starting point and determines your exercise selection.
The assessment helps guide exercise selection and progression.
Start Your Personalized Training Plan
Your trainer builds each session around your goals, your current ability, and your available space.
Downtown desk work produces predictable patterns, so hip mobility, thoracic extension, and posterior chain strength appear in most downtown programs.
Your trainer adjusts exercises, resistance, volume, and difficulty as your capacity improves.
Review and Adjust Your Progress
Your trainer monitors how you respond to training. Your trainer changes the program when your ability, your schedule, or your goals change, and rebuilds your session plan when you move units, change buildings, or lose access to an amenity gym.
What a BodyMind Personal
Training Program Includes
Every BodyMind program begins with your starting point and your intended outcome.
A session can include strength training, mobility work, functional movement, balance training, core training, running-specific strength, and general conditioning. Your trainer selects the mix that matches your goal.
The program targets consistency and progression, not difficulty. Your trainer designs a plan you can repeat weekly and advance over time.
Your trainer accounts for the following before writing your program:
- Current fitness level
- Strength and mobility
- Exercise experience
- Training history
- Baseline physiology
- Past injuries
- Schedule and lifestyle
- Short-term and long-term goals
- Available equipment
- Available training space

Toronto Personal Trainer
Beginners who want a sustainable routine
You do not need a competition goal to benefit from personal coaching. If you are new to exercise, your trainer starts with fundamental movement patterns and progresses your program at a pace your body tolerates. If you already train regularly, your trainer targets specific weaknesses, adds structure, and moves you past your current plateau.
Runners preparing for a race or recovering from injury
Your running program combines gait assessment, strength training, mobility work, running programming, recovery, and movement coaching. Your trainer builds the program around your current ability, your training history, your race date, and the demands of your target distance.
Seniors looking to stay independent with age
In-home personal training suits older adults who want professional coaching without leaving home. Your trainer works on movement quality, coordination, functional strength, and balance so you maintain independence as you age. You train in your own space, at your own pace.

Working with Marwa has been an incredible investment in my running journey. As a marathon runner dealing with chronic hamstring tightness, I assumed I just needed to stretch more and focus on mobility until I go t injured and sat out for months. Marwa took a completely new approach to breaking down the source of my hamstring tightness and the gait analysis I did with her was really interesting because I realized my hip stability was bad and it affected my running form. She designed a strength and mileage plan for that helped me ramp back up to marathon training and my pain is actually almost gone now.Posted on Google![]()

I usually don't write reviews but as a woman I feel like I need to share how amazing it was to work with someone like Marwa as a trainer and a running coach. Long story short I was diagnosed with endometriosis at 38 and it was years of ups and downs with pain and exercise. I knew exercise was very important to my lifestyle, but I would always get frustrated when my body refuses to cooperate, especially when running. I would start running for 15-20 minutes and get severe cramps in my pelvis that I have to stop immediately. I am also a clinician who works in Women’s Health so this issue was extremely frustrating from a personal and a professional perspective. I wasn’t looking for a certain goal in mind but someone who understands this condition to help me manage it and continue to work and improve my fitness and Marwa was the perfect choice for that. Her understanding of how to manage endometriosis and how to adjust intensity in running and weight training was exactly what I had been looking for. After almost a year of working together now, I can see that I am getting much stronger and my running is improving significantly without feeling the frustration and loss of not managing my condition. She’s hands down the best woman personal trainer and running coach you can find in Toronto.Posted on Google![]()

I was working with an online running coach to prep for my last marathon and unfortunately I ended up tearing my hamstring while finishing my marathon. It was an extremely difficult surgery to have and rehab post-op took over 8 months and I finally wanted to go back to running but was very concerned about that injury creeping back. I was recommended to Marwa by a good friend of mine who’s an ultra runner and she was a fantastic running coach to work with. She’s really knowledgeable about running injuries and built a complete return to running program that included strength, mileage and recovery.Posted on Google![]()

I used to run quite often prior to having my third child, but after my pregnancy, my body was never able to get back to my initial load. Every time I ran more than 30 minutes I would get severe pain in my hip joint which was later diagnosed as a torn hip labrum by my doctor. My PT told me I should stop running but I really wanted to continue as it was one of my favorite activities. I felt so lucky to have a running coach like Marwa, her initial assessments were all on track with my Dr and Physio said, but instead of telling me to stop running, she was able to help me build a running plan from the ground up and work on my hip instability. After a year of working together, I’m running 3x a week now with no pain and about to sign up for my first 10K since 6 years ago.Posted on Google![]()

I started running around 2 years ago and worked my way from walking to running 10K which was great. But I wanted to run a half marathon and in training when I reached 12K I started to develop severe pain in my lower leg which eventually led to multiple shin splints and stress fractures. I reached out to a few running coaches in Toronto and Marwa was the best one I found. She was extremely through in her assessment and her gait analysis was spot-on. It was very neat to see how much imbalance I had in my hips as my pace changed. She understood the origin of my pain and helped me put a plan to strengthen my muscles and manage my mileage. Now I feel much more confident running the Waterfront half marathon in October as I hit the 18K goal without any pain.Posted on Google![]()

As an older woman, I wanted to stay active without constantly aggravation an old injury. Marwa understands how the whole body works together and was able to identify weaknesses and imbalance that no one had explained to me before. She is patient, attentive and knows when to challenge me and when to modify something. I have more strength, better balance, and far less fear around exercise than when I started.Posted on Google![]()

I started personal training with Marwa in my last sixties because I was losing strength and finding everyday movements more difficult. She took the time to understand my body, including my joint stiffness and the areas where I felt weak or unsteady. Every session is adapted to what I can safely do while still challenging me to improve. I now feel stronger!Posted on Google![]()

I've torn both of my ACL's as an ex-rugby player, and at the age of 32, I still loved working out and cared about the gains, but felt like it's come to a point where there are so many muscle imbalances on my left side (from the most recent tear) than I’d like to let linger. I decided to research some coaches in the downtown Toronto area and Marwa’s profile showed up. She is hands down one of the most knowledgeable strength coaches I’ve seen in my ten years as an athlete. Her knowledge about the injuries I had all over my hips and what I needed to rebuild from where I was made the decision of working with her one of the best investments I made in my health.Posted on Google![]()

I've worked out on and off for years and always ended up injured. Marwa completely changed that. Her knowledge of physiology and experience as an athlete helped rebuild me into someone stronger and more balanced than ever. She adapts my program around old injuries and always takes a 360 approach. Almost three years in, I can’t imagine stopping and I’ve recommended her to my wife and sister too.Posted on Google![]()

I'm in my late fifties and I had stopped working out a long time ago due to a combination of injury and lack of motivation, but Marwa helped me get back into strength training. Her functional approach improved my everyday strength and helped me enjoy golf without getting injured. Three years later, I’m stronger and in the best shape of my life.
